Operated rubber extruders with rubber mill and in-line print machine to manufacture hydraulic hose. Operated lead extruders to finish the production of hydraulic hose by enclosing the hose with lead then vulcanizing the product to adhere the rubber to the braided hose. Help implement the first plastic sheathing technology for hydraulic hose production for the Gates Rubber Co. Helped eliminate environmental concerns of lead produced hydraulic hose. Helped reduce scrape by 50%. Increased production by 150% and was chosen to train night shift for switching to plastic sheathing operations. Was awarded the highest award from Charles Gates for helping implement new revolutionary technology. Was chosen to learn new technology and pass it on to the night shift.
